2. Local Device Data Storage
The app stores your study state locally on your iOS device to provide a seamless learning experience, including:
- Exam progress and practice history (2008, 2025, and 65/20 sets)
- Saved N-400 test version orientation and study preferences
- Selected state and local civic official answers
- Locally cached study content and audio files
This local data remains on your device so you can continue studying where you left off.
3. Location & Address Information
The app does not continuously track your GPS location.
If you voluntarily enter a ZIP code or, when necessary, a street address, that input is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend lookup service solely to determine the corresponding state or congressional district.
A street address is requested only when a single ZIP code spans multiple congressional districts and cannot uniquely determine your U.S. Representative. This information is never used for marketing, profiling, or tracking.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use a minimal set of trusted service providers strictly to power core app features:
Geocod.io and ElevenLabs may transiently log API requests for a limited period under their respective security and retention policies. Zepol AI does not store your ZIP code, street address, or personal identity in any persistent user database.
These services are used solely for app functionality and never for advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. In-App Purchases
Examen Ciudadanía USA 65/20 includes free access to both 65/20 special consideration versions (2008 and 2025) and offers an optional one-time Apple In-App Purchase (“Pro”) to unlock all full regular exam sets.
All payments are processed directly by Apple through the App Store. We never have access to your credit card or billing information.
6. Internet Connection
An internet connection is required only for specific online actions, such as processing or restoring an in-app purchase, looking up local civic officials by ZIP code/address, or downloading audio.
Core study features, flashcards, and exam simulations work directly on your device once content is loaded.
7. Educational Content, Official Government Sources & Non-Affiliation
Examen Ciudadanía USA 65/20 is an independent educational study tool.
Study questions and civics materials are based on official public-domain publications from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) at https://www.uscis.gov and official U.S. congressional directories (https://www.congress.gov, https://www.house.gov, and https://www.senate.gov).

8. Data Retention & How to Delete Your Data
Because Examen Ciudadanía USA 65/20 does not create user accounts or maintain personal profiles on Zepol AI servers, all personal study progress and saved ZIP/official preferences reside locally on your device.
You can clear your saved location/preferences inside the app at any time, or uninstall the app from your iPhone/iPad to permanently and immediately delete all locally stored data.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Zepol AI does not sell or share personal information, does not use cross-context behavioral advertising, and processes voluntary ZIP/address lookups solely to return the requested civic district information.
10. Children’s Privacy
Examen Ciudadanía USA 65/20 is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard HTTPS encryption and reasonable technical safeguards to protect requests processed through the app’s backend services. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
